- Dudick Shock-Crete helps cut water usage in a California
fruit processing plant by 17%. A California fruit
processor noted a 17% reduction in its water usage following the
installation of Dudick Shock-Crete as a chemical resistant
surfacer on three of its process floors. Dudick's
anti-microbial cementacious urethane applied by Wilson and
Hampton Coating Contractors resulted in an easily cleaned
process floor for the processor.
- Dudick Shock-Crete slip resistance and surfacing properties
reduced injuries to process workers and fork lift operators at a
California fruit processing plant. Year to year injuries
were reduced for the plant operator as Dudick Shock-Crete
provides not only a slip-resistant surface in both dry and wet
process areas, the Dudick Shock-Crete also provided a level
floor system that resulted in fewer spills and back injuries to
fork-lift operators.

Ameron
Performance Coatings Corrosion Control - Principles & Methods
resource guide is available from Pacific Southwest Supply as a
download. Ameron produced this document in the 1970s and
1980s for training technical sales personnel. Thanks to
Ameron's Larry Tollenaere, Chuck Munger and Jim Slatic the
corrosion course produced a generation of highly trained
technical sales personnel for not only Ameron, but Ameron's
competitors such as Carboline, International and Devoe as sales
personnel from Ameron took positions in other companies.
Ameron published this resource document and has made it
available through the Pacific Southwest website. The
comprehensive course on corrosion protection, concrete
protection, surface preparation and application is a tribute to
those who made Ameron the leading corrosion protection company
of the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. We thank and salute those
who made this training document the ultimate resource guide for
Ameron's technical sales team: Jim Slatic, Harlan Kline, Linda
Marquez, Willie Valdez, Dan Gelfer, Peter Simpson, Dr. Ray
Foscante, John Woods, Steve Dickey, Norm Mowrer, Jim Greco,
Manny Barrero, Bob Wade, Gene Centofante, Fernando Turegano,
Manny Nerios, Rex Glazebrook and Bob Doyle.
